I am a Professor of Political Science, African & Women’s Studies at Brooklyn College, The City University New York (CUNY), New York, United States of America. My research interests include: Diaspora Studies and Contemporary African Immigration, Globalization and Gender Relations with a focus on Africa within the world economy, Globalization, Politics, Gender and Governance; Sub-Saharan African Political Economy, Democratization and Economic Liberalization.
